CCG Contract

Unfortunately we cannot comment further on the BBC news story which you may have seen yesterday.

Belfast City Council is still involved in a legal process with the contractor and is not in a position to comment in detail with regard to the outcome of the independent conciliation report. We and Belfast City Council hope that there will be a speedy conclusion to enable the CCG to be completed as soon as possible.

The Hollow Cleanup April 2012

Volunteers took to the Hollow to help paint the walls and backyard doors along Abetta Parade and to pick up rubbish from in and around the rivers.

Dressed as shipyard workers from the early 20th century, 1000 yardmen walkers and cyclists followed in the footsteps of the generations of Harland and Wolff yardmen who made their way to the shipyard through east Belfast, in aid of Bowel Cancer UK.

Stakeholder Forum December 2011

The latest Stakeholder forum took place on Friday 9 December and was kindly hosted by Glentoran Football Club at The Oval.

The Rt. Hon First Minister Peter Robinson was in attendance along with other local elected representatives. Guest speakers included Russell Lever, (Community Relations Officer for Glentoran Football Club) who informed the work being undertaken at the club and future plans for engagement.
